Our Afterschool rooms are located upstairs. Spacious rooms have their own toilets and wash facilities. Afterschool children have exclusive access to our safe and secure outdoor area at different times throughout the day.

Afterschool Rooms

Our Afterschool room has dedicated fulltime staff members.

Here your child will be supported to grow in confidence and have lots of opportunities to develop their physical, social, emotional, and language/communication development.

As part of the daily routine our kids will have the opportunity to complete homework for 45-60mins.

Parents will receive a daily record sheet showing the details of the activities completed each day.

Afterschool Kids

With daily outside time, regular group outings to parks and events the kids in our Afterschool room are always kept busy!

Key staff members have a yearly plan of activities and planned trips that keep our kids engaged and having fun.

We like to think of First Steps as a home from home!

Furthermore, we have extensive outdoor facilities available for all our nursery children. Don't forget we cater for babies and toddlers as well as preschool children.
